Hi All

I was just wondering if anyone has used Jenson USA? They keep coming up when I Google parts that I want and their prices are really good when converted to pounds. I assume that you would get stung on the tax front from HM Customs or whoever if you order from them though?

yes tax and VAT and shipping and a handling charge.

4,8% for parts. 20% VAT on the total and a handling charge of about a tenner.

I've ordered small parts from them and only had to pay postage from USA to UK, no import duty etc. It all depends on what you order wether you get stung by HMRC & RM.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

There are some small bits I thought of ordering from them but at the minute i'm liking the price they are doing last years Yeti frames at so will be stung on that for sure.

When would the VAT etc get added? I imagine the tax man might want it before it clears customs?

Think you usually pay it to the courier along with their handling fee. That's been my experience anyway.
