My colleague at work is looking for a entry-level range road helmet, something in the region of £30/40, is there anything that comes highly recommended at this price?

they're all made to comply with the same standard, so the best thing is to simply try a few and see which is most comfortable - fit varies a lot even with models of the same make, so there's no substitute for trying them on
