London - Paris - Advice on the best Charity run

I have been cycling for the past 8 months seriously and I suppose I am clocking up 80- 100 plus miles a week (3-4 good spins).

I am very keen to "give something back" in terms of a charity run and my target is London - Paris next summer. I am just starting my research but would like to ask your advice on the most suitable:

Ideally I would like the run to be fairly serious (ie all road bike users of a fair to good standard) and the Macmillan event looks interesting.
