Front mech query

Just built up my first FS.
Was advised taht the frame required a top swing (top pul) front mech.
This is what I've got:
hope that you can see, the problem. I can't get the mech low enough on the "stump" to get the cage of the mech the required 1-2mm above the large chain ring. I'm guessing I've been told the wrong mech.
Is this the case or am I being a muppet?

looks like the cable is not routed right on the rear.
What is the frame?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

But what is the frame?
Vitus Sane NXT,
theres no way I can see that this mech will work with this frame?

what is the mech? deore? and i take it is the part at the front that is bottoming out?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I am guessing the cable stop is on the rear triangle? so that rules out an E type mech.
I would be calling CRC and asking them which actual mech fits."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

It was CRC that said a top swing!
Cable stop is on the rear triangle.
That mech is and XT M770. But I ahve a deore M590 too and that is the same. It is the bottom of the mech that bottoms out in the bottom of the triangle:

like i said ask them what mech fits. not what type. but which actual one.
I am thinking that a Sram top swing might work better."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Trevor at CRC actually linked to the one I've got:

then back to CRC with a it will not fit.
as there is more hens teeth out there than info on any Vitus older than this year the supplier is your only option for info or Vitus direct."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

You are right about the hens teeth!! I took a chance on the frame as it was so cheap and nice cheap intro to building a FS. Trev at CRC has been very good, but I guess he's got this one wrong!0 -
PS your middle ring is on wrong.
see the bump on the inner surface of the middle ring that should be behind the arm. all the rings should have a marker to show their correct alignment with each other and the arm."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I build custom bikes for people. as well as many other things."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
