helloo :)

i'm building a bike for the first time, learning as i go..

i've got a couple of questions about the front mech.

i've got a sinister ridge frame (from 2007 i believe), and a top pull slx front mech.

now i'm not sure if it's just me being stupid, but trying to clamp the cable into the pinch bolt makes it have to bend around one of the springs of the mech that is further up than the pinch bolt.

does that mean i've got the wrong derailleur? or is it meant to be like that..

if this doesn't make sense, let me know and i'll get a photo up tomorrow. :P

cheers :)

download the manual and look at the pictures. it shows how it should be.

but yes pics as most mechs are dual pull and you could have done anything.
