I must say I wish had gone for a 10 * 2 SRAM chainset as I can't seem get the Shimano SLX set-up right. I've tried and tried again but can't seem to find a happy medium for the FD/RD settings. It seems there's just too much movement required. Either chain rubbing on the FD or the RD or the thing doesn't change smoothley. Anyone got any tips for setting it up.

    It's an SLX M660-10 HollowTech II group-set I purchased from actionsports.de, parts are;

    http://www.actionsports.de/gb/Components/Groupsets/Shimano-SLX-660-10-Komplettgruppe-3x10-fach::28904.html

    FD-M661-10
    RD-M663-10
    Rapidfire Sl-M660 shifters

    Can't remember whether the cassette is 11-34 or 11-36

    Use the Pro-Set allignment sticker(already attached to the front mech) to get the front mech at the correct angle and at the correct height. Then put the chain on and index the rear mech as you would with any normal system.

    I must say that I can't find the sticker and alignment tool that came with the groupset. Didn't realise their importance. :oops: Can I purchase these from Shimano?

    The front mech should have come with a sticker attached that had a picture of some chainring teeth on it. It should also have come with a coloured block inside the mechanism to make it easier to index
