Trek Madone 5.2 2007 - What's it worth?

I have a chance of buying a 2007 Trek Madone 5.2 that has supposedly only done 55 miles. Original cost was £3200 according to the seller but I have no idea what it is worth

    Hmmm - If it fits you - I'd offer him £800 or so.

    You can buy a similar spec bike brand new for just over a grand - maybe not Trek though.

    £750 - £800 seems about right. Anything less is a bonus. It's not worth much more than those figures irrespective of the fact that it may not have been used.

    It is 4 years old, so 13.5 miles per year doesn't seem excessive :lol:

    Has he the receipt? IIRC, the RRP for that model was £2000 therefore if it's in mint condition with no marks on the frame etc. then top whack £1000 but I would suggest you secure for around £750-800.
