I think the play off's is one of the most ridiculous ideas I've ever heard of.
The teams have had 46 games to decide who's 3rd in the table, but they then need to give 4th, 5th and 6th another chance to nick the place off them ?

yeah i do agree with that. but what about rugby, the magners league. don't the have a champion (winner of the lague) and then they have a champion of champions or something where the top 2 play each other....wtf? :?

Yeah, did you never play next goalthe winner at dinner time at school, you'd be 12-0 up at the bell and due to the next goal the winner rule you could still lose.
Play offs are great though, one of my happiest days ever was the play off final Walsall won against Reading 10 years ago, and beating Sjoke in the semi's too, after their smug announcer decided to offer his comiserations to us before the kick off0 -

See I'm an oddity as a Walsall fan, I was brought up as a dingle Wolves fan and worked there for 3 years, so I've got a soft spot. I'd like to see Wigan and the bluenoses go down (sorry bails)0

We all know the posh and league one are where the real excitement will be this week, 3-2 to mk "we've got no history" dons, should be a cracking second game at London round, the place will be rocking if Sundays game is anything to go by!!0

I think darragh's alright, he brings the money, sure he made a few mistakes, like hiring mark cooper, Kettering to the championship is abit far after all, and for some reason has kept Barry fry in a job that doesn't really exist, the general feeling is fry is fat cnut and should just leave the club alone, but macanthony bought darren back, and since then we've been superb, had it not been for Gary Johnson being a right sheepstw4t at te start of the season I dare say we would have pushed Southampton all the way, we hve arguably 2 of the best players in the league in mackail smith and Boyd, and you can't deny that 108 goals in a season isn't bad going, even if we have conceeded 70 odd we stuffed Huddersfield 4-2 earlier in the season and drew against them t'other week, we should get past the dons at home, old Trafford and te championship here we come!! 0 -

As far as I can tell, 3rd place has already been decided ?
Imagine working your a$$ off all season and finishing just a few points below the top 2 teams, only to have a couple of shabby performances in the play offs and loosing out the 3rd spot (the one you've already claimed) to some chancres from 6th place.
Can't ever see Forumla 1 adopting the idea somehow..........0 -

there is one thing wrong with this, isnt it the Engllish Premier League, so why do wales get a look in with cardiff and swansea? Cant they stay in wales and rule the Welsh league like Celtic and Rangers do in the SPL??*
