Anyone else do the Cotswold Bike Ride (British Heart Foundation) yesterday? Record turnout, I think.

Yepp, really enjoyed it. Used local knowledge to give Gretton a miss by turning right after the pottery in Winchcome, ended up doing 39 so not really a short cut just much more enjoyable.
Finished at just after 10.30 and managed to get the best of the weather, I was the sweaty one in a black, white and red Pearl Izumi top.
Enjoy the big hill?0 -
I was on my hybrid, so I braved the Gretton rumble strip. I get my new fillings tomorrow. I enjoyed the climb at Roel Gate and, of course the descent down "Stanney". I see Dixton finished off a few "first timers".Purveyor of "up"0

I think my favourite sight was the postie who turned up complete with front loader. I bit he gurned a bit up the hill!
My mate did it in 8 hours stopping in nearly every pub and finishing about 6ish. I think he had the right idea about carb loading.0 -

Any others on the horizon worth a go?0 -
I'm doing the Wheels 100 sportive next w/e which is probably short notice if you haven't had it in your calendar although the route does look to be fairly accessible. Fantastic cause:

What about this one for later in the year (I haven't done it but it looks good):

Oh, the "Lumpy Scrumpy" audax the other week from Parkend was an excellent route btw and worth looking out for next year:
