Another Fury....

...with the extra 20% discount code I thought it was too good to refuse a 17" Fury last week.
Collected it last Thursday and after swapping some stuff over from my Giant Yukon I took the Fury and the family down to Rutland Water yesterday for a little jaunt.
Only went 9.5 miles as my lad on the Trail Gator was feeling the cold and normally is tired after 5 miles.
The bike seemed great and a total contrast to the full sus Yukon and after leaving the family having a picnic I managed a quick 10 mins on my own and was very happy with the set up.
No pics taken but you all know what a white Fury looks like, maybe I'll get some loaded up later.
First thing I need to get is a QR seat clamp as its lots easier getting the bikes all on the carrier with the seat lowered/raised a little to suit.
Cheers

Good choice! I just bought one as well on Saturday, and a Kraken for my girlfriend. I tried a few other bikes around the 500-600 mark, but nothing else really came close to the Fury in terms of bang for buck. Went for a short blast yesterday on some local trails and it felt really good. I agonised for a while over whether to get the 18" or 20" frame (I'm 6'1) but glad I went for the smaller frame as it is so chuckable and loads of fun. The fat tyres made the ride into work a bit slow though lol0

I agree matey, my mate happened to buy a 20" Kraken on Friday and asked why I had gone for the 18" as we are the same height, told him I prefer the smaller frame for the same reasons as youCarrera Fury for the muddy stuff

Whats that red thing on your bike stem may I ask?
my new carrera fury I recently purchased on 15th May, new blog, I would appreciate advice, things to put on the bike, suggestions and more as it's my first bike, please don't mind the long story at the beginning, it's what made the bike sale interesting >> http://www.bikeradar.com/forum/viewtopi ... 5#169562250 -

You're 6'1, you bought a slightly smaller frame than you probably should have done but your seatpost is that low?
Sure its set right?0 -

The pics are my bike and I ain't the one who's 6'1".
I'm 5'10" and run the seat slightly lower when towing just for ease when stopping and getting on/off
