Morning,

I thought I'd chuck this in the cake stop, rather than anywhere else...

For those with Polar HR/Cycle computers, I'm curious how often you find they need serviceing and battery replacements...

Cheers,
Steve

I have had my S725X since 11/10/07, which I bought second hand. In that time I have replaced the battery in the chest strap once, and had to buy a replacement strap (not the module itself that holds the battery, the contacts had corroded on the strap)

In the watch itself I have changed the battery once myself, I know your you should send it off to be done by Polar, but it's a damn sight cheaper to do it yourself. The HR monitor I had before this one I did send back to Polar, and the service and quick turn around was second to none.

I have, and do use it allot as well.

Depends how quickly you gan get to the poles :D
Science adjusts it’s beliefs based on what’s observed.
Faith is the denial of observation so that Belief can be preserved
