And is the frame any different to the current models...
One of my bikes has a seized seat post... which, if I can't remove, means I'll need a new frame :-(
I have the possibility of acquiring a grey Fury frame and then swap all my bits over. My current bike is a '08 Saracen mantra 3. Anyone know the headset will be ok to swapout to the Carrera? Ditto the 85-130mm U-turn Toras?

Cool, retro and sometimes downright rude MTB and cycling themed T shirts. Just MTFU.

Frame is 08 IIRC.
Headsets are pretty much a standard size, but swapping them is a bit of a ballache so I wouldn't bother. I'd suggest you lock your forks down to 120mm as that's what the frame comes stock with.0 -
nope, the grey fury had the same 130-90mm 318 tora, so that will be fine. As for the headset, just get a new one.I like bikes and stuff0

Headset is almost certainly different. From memory, most Carreras use internal headsets, Saracen tended to use external I think. Probably going to have to pull the crown race off the forks from the fury and hammer it onto your fork. To be fair though, I would keep the fury intact, as it is a nicer frame. The mantras are a little bit heavy, and Saracens of that era would occasionally crack if ridden really hard.0
