i came across this site when looking for some Oakleys.

http://www.discounted-sunglasses-sale.com/

Given the discount they claim to give i somehow dont think they are the real item. Basically you can get a pair of Oakleys for £27 and thats including p&p. If only !

    For example

Yes very cheap copies. Don't waste your money.
They may shatter If a stone hits them, or have no UV filter in them. Just being dark could make that even worse as your iris opens up and allows more harmful rays in.

    Not worth risking it.

Sound a tad expensive to me, Oakleys were about £2.50 in the markets in Bangkok last week!

And they don't all cost over £200, there are plenty for less than £100. Cheapest pair I've bought cost me £20! But would I spend £200 on another pair? You betcha!

  • My brother bought himself a bargain pair in China & then his daughter spotted the A & L weren't detailed correctly & oakley-text-logo.jpg was more "OXEY"

The carry case of the ones on this site seem similar..

Tbh, I would either get the real deal, or get cheaper tinted safety glasses. Both will offer good eye protection, and will be long lasting.

    These won't be.

Fwiw, I've heard that Oakley generally take a dim view of sellers who offer their goods at bellow rrp, so any discounts would raise my suspicions

    as mentioned - most aren't

they are pretty decent value for money though - my last pair lasted me near ten years and looked as good then as the day i got them (till my 2yr old snapped the arms off - she was nt popular)

Optically perfect in a range ot tints - you pay extra for polarized - love 'em!

they aint cheap, but they are good - and from a sports glasses point of view - have you seen the price of rudy, tifosi, adidas, specialized etc!?!?! - not far off and in some cases more than oakleys!
  • In addition I found Oakley aftersales excellent.
I had a pair that was about 7 or 8 years old and the arm loosened on them.
To my surprise i was sent the old lenses mounted in a new frame-gratis.
Have two pairs now-throughly recommend the real thing.

    £200+ I agree most aren't.

I paid £90 for my Radar Path from http://www.eyewearoutlet.co.uk/ and I consider them a real bargain at this price.

Their lenses technology is 2nd to none.
