or you need to check your fork set up. bottoming out a fork should happen a few times."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Yeah, the RST there is not the best! The Ramones 1 looks like a great allrounder at a good price.0

It weighs a ton but rolls along fairly easily and is pedallable uphill with the forks wound down to 95mm but it won't win any races. Ideally suited to people with little or no skill who like to ride downhill and not have to rebuild the bike at the bottom.
I guess you could use it for xc/trail/commuting but there are probably better bikes.
No disrespect but there was a Ramones 2 in the shop at the time and it was so heavy it felt as though it was bolted to the floor.0 -

dont worry! I was about to cross the ramones 2 off anyway!
im not to worried about the xc-ability as a fellow rider round my parts has an orange 5 and says thats about the right travel for what we do. I dont want a racing machine realy just a bike that can take some bigger hits and not bottom out over gravel driveways!Cube Analog 2012 with various upgrades.0 -
