this bike has had great reviews in the mags, just wondered if somebody has bought one and what do you think?

Just bought one this week, gave it a good go yesterday at llandegla.

It's great, really good fun. I'm not the best to advise as I'm a newbie(ish) and its my first full susser, but can only say as i find and I'm loving it.

More knowledgeable people than me speaking highly of yesterday too.

Get one!!!!

I have got last years X3 model and it's really very good. This years frame should be even better. You will need to allow extra cash for new fork springs if you are quite heavy or particularly light.
If you can afford to spend an extra couple of hundred then have a look at the Trance X LTD, much better spec for not of lot of extra cash

Fair comment above in that the x ltd looks good, but more cash always gets something better....the x4 is ace!!!

True but in this case it is a much better spec for only a couple hundred pounds. I think it's well worth it just for the suspension upgrade

Yes. I think they are a worthwhile upgrade. I have got Rockshox Tora's on my Hardrock & although they are good the Fox F120's are MUCH better, more adjustable and a lot lighter. The Fox Float shock is a lot better than the X Fusion shock as well.
