was heading out for a ride this afternoon, came down in the lift out in to the car park, get on the bike clip right foot in. I then reset my computer for the ride, start to ride off and went about 20 feet when a neighbour from another flat shouts across the car park have you got a minute? being a friendly chappy i say sure and coast to a stop. however i was to preoccupied with chatting and for got that i was clipped in. and then i happened, down i went, i was laying there thinking what the fu*k!!! it must of taken me a good 20 seconds before it registered that i was clipped in. My neighbour was almost crying with laughter and then i joined him. Think i may well contact the maintainance company for the block and ask if it was caught on the cctv cameras.Pretty pointless post i guess but just thought i would share my missfortune.

Mine was in front of a line of cars at traffic lights! You've got to laugh :D
Where would you be if you fell down a hole?.. Stuck down a hole... in the fog... Stuck down a hole, in the fog, at night... WITH AN OWL!

I don't know anyone who hasn't done it. Dents the pride a little, but you live and learn. It normally happens with an audience, for some unexplained reason

Mine was at after 18 miles, first time clipless at traffic lights on a bank covered in Autumn leaves. I had nowhere to go, was in too high a gear and suddenly heard Timber.

The traffic was a good dozen or so cars. At the head was a taxi carrying an elderly lady who looked in shock. The driver held up the traffic through a full cycle of lights and got out to help me. I thanked him and said I was fine. I could still not get unclipped. He got out again and asked if he could lift me upright. Again, I thanked him and just lay there laughing. The lady in the passenger seat eventually smiled with me.

I was dressed in brand black tracksters, my new black Endura Stealth jacket, very dark glasses and black gloves and beanie. I looked like a cross between a super-hero and a cat burglar and I was lying in a bed of leaves laughing my head off. No embarrassment, no shame just good fun.

The next day was different. I couldn't unclip at lights but managed to turn down a side street panicking. I took them off and then had my bike stolen a couple of days later ( a bit of an extreme reaction I know).

I finally tried again a few weeks ago. Brilliant. No issues and I love it.

Mine was at a roundabout in a queue of cars, I stupidly tried to trackstand on a bike I hadn't done it on before.

Thankfully i got this out of my way on the mtb, where the only spectators were the local wild life :P Fell sideways into a huge mud puddle and my knee managed to find the only sodding rock!
