Anyone with a set of the above, could you tell me if they are noisy like Hopes or quiet like Shimano? Cheers!

I'd say in between, they are slightly noisier than my XT hubs, but don't have any hope hubs to compare them with....

Hmmm, don't want anything too noisy - anyone comment on how loud they actually are vs a Hope Pro II? Don't mind if just a bit louder than XT, but would like to be sure!

...and is the white bit round the hub a sticker, painted or what?

It a bit louder than a XT hub not as loud as a Hope hub.

Not sure what you mean by white bit around the hub? do you mean the logo? mine is painted on.

White bit round the hub is painted on.

And they are as quiet as you want them to be.

The freehub comes out really easily, so you just pack the pawls out with some grease and it's silent. Clean out the grease and it's knocking on towards sounding like a bag 'o' spanners ProIIs do (awaits the arrival of hope fanbois).

I'd say mine sounds about on par with my old DT Swiss hubs with the upgraded ratchet. I cleaned a bit of the grease out of mine though because I do like to have a little bit of noise.
