BT Vision isn't brilliant, it's like a pimped out FreeView box with the ability to record and tons of replays on demand (Yawn...)
You can add content to it, but as a former Sky subscriber and a current BT Vision user, Sky is miles ahead in what you can initially view on a minimum contract.
I [sadly] opted for BT Vision due to not being at home very much and mainly use it to record my favourites like Family Guy, South Park and a few movies that actually are worth watching. I will not renew the contract when it's up and move to Virgin solely for the high bandwidth broadband, even though the amount of hops and latency borders "unacceptable"0 -
I had Virgin broadband and it was amazing, but I have no idea what hops and latency mean.
Now using my cellphone to connect as have no phone line and no Virgin in the area (well Bracknell is a sh1thole and they are all slags).

Retro internet!!
I feel like I have retro internet with my 2mb connection.
Have to say my cable service is pretty awesome though. Got a shit load of channels where they have both Spanish dubbed and original language output so I have stuff like HBO, FX, Sony, Fox all without need for subtitles. The cable box is also a pvr so can record what I want and have the HD channels at no extra cost (ideal for the footie...which I have a shitload of).
Threaten to rape your neighbour though if they don't let you get Virgin. Sky has better tv services (sky sports red button thing for champions league games for example) but cable internet blows ADSL clean out the waterFormally known as Coatbridgeguy0 -
Sky, or keep leaving the bath to overflow until they move (or drown)0
