How do I adjust lever reach on shimano BL-M486

I've been looking all over the place but can't find out how to change the lever reach on these shimano BL-M486 brake levers. I need them to be closer...short fingers I guess!

there is an allen headed adjuster on the inside of the lever. on the end of the push rod.
