Bike Friendly B&B's near Whinlatter (Keswick in the Lake

Four of us are up at Whinlatter next Friday and are looking for a bike friendly B&B for the night.

We intend to ride all day then drink all night (with more riding to blow away the hangovers the next day).

Any recommendations to make this a top do would be much appreciated? Pubs also a must!

    There are 100s of B&Bs in Keswick :wink: You might struggle at such short notice.Try here:-

    Keswick has around 10 or 12 pubs in the town centre so take yer pick.All the mags recommend the Dog and Gun for food,personally I don't eat there anymore.There are cheap pubs(Oddfellows,has music at weekends too/Lake Road Inn) and expensive pubs(Packhorse,The George Hotel) and lots in-between(Bank Tavern,Dog and Gun,Golden Lion,Keswick Lodge).It's all geared towards tourism/outdoors type stuff but get into town early at weekends...especially if the Sun is out :wink: Most of the pubs are around the Moot Hall(tourist info)pedestrian area and the alleyways off it.
    Been going since 1974 and still love the place 8)
