Normal lectures for me today, plus extra deaf studies this morning I'm attending, and I know this might sound geeky but I'm really looking forward to deaf studies.

And, Happy Nurses day! Have a nice day!

    Morning rimticklers,

Last working day this week, so there is bacons in my very near future.

    ...and hash browns.

Morning all, today has begun as a bit of a fail. I am supposed to be somewhere in 10 minutes from now, which takes 45 minutes to bike to, but as the boiler repair man is STILL here after 2 hours, i'm in a sticky situation. Leaves me looking bad in the eyes of the family, but oh well, what can you do?

Other than that, walking the dog today with the family, then who knows. Probably a whole bunch of nothing is the plan for today.

    Good Morning Freaks!

Well, after last nights epic eatathon (All you can eat 'Asian' restaurant - mix of both Indian and Chinese menus), I was pleasantly suprised to find my blood sugar levels the lowest they've been all week first thing. :D Obviously stuffing your face till you can't move is a excellent way of controlling diabetes*

Back to the 'sedate' ride to work today as the ladies have the use of the changing facilities. Got rained on a couple of times, but nothing drastic. Going to put an extra loop onto the ride home to make up the mileage I lose on the way in.

    What's that I hear calling?

Oh, its that bacon roll and coffee I'm just off to get.

    Good morning benders

Yesterday's hangover was horrible, managed to get myself feeling perky after lots of painkillers, lots of powerade and a fair bit of redbull. Played a hockey match. Completely crashed in the evening, had some more redbull, ended up having a fair few pints and now I just woke up feeling like I've not had any sleep.

Today will involve some lectures, a class where I get to poke a dog and then I'm off to see the baby cousin this evening.

    Yo maggots...

I did enjoy waking up at 07h45, whereas I'd usually be up at 4 on a Thursday, or 6 on most other weekdays
Working from home today, so win!
Milo my near insane cat is driving me insane walking all over the (3) keyboards on my study desk and chasing the mouse cursor on the screens, bloody nugget!
Weather's crap in Stoke today, dark and overcast, so a little fail on that side.

    Mehning

Not much doing today, water the plants, tidy the mess up in the house yada yada.
I'm puzzled by the fact that I've pretty much done nothing for 3 days and yet seem to have tweaked a muscle in my neck/shoulder. And it would be the problem shoulder.

Off for tapas tonight as well, this makes me happy

If anyone fancies a ride round Llandegla, we'll be setting off from the cafe at 12:00 tomorrow.
Pace will be sociable with good chance of seeing me falling over a lot.
If you ask nicely, I may even let you have a go on the Edison.

    Morning everyone!

Busy couple of days for me. Nothing exciting though, moving from one meeting to another, and still deciding on nothing. Most have gone along the lines of this:
Me: "We have X amount of money in the budget"
The 'Educated': "We need This, and This, and This and This, which comes to X+1"
Me: "Well you'll have to get rid of one of the things on your list"
The 'Educated': "We can't! We have to get it all"
Me: "Well you'll have to find it cheaper"
The Educated: "That's the cheapest we can find"
Me: "......... well you'll have to get rid of one of the things on your list!"

Pretty much that for 2 days now.

Off to the gym after work today, and then I think I'm off round to a friends house to fix up her bike (if you know what I mean ;) .... sadly it means literally fixing a bike)
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Opposite for me - I shared a house at uni with some medic mates who introduced me to some very nice nurses. The local medical school bar/night club wasn't nicknamed 'The Meat Market' for nothing :)
