Padded Shorts - Boxers or not?

For lack of wanting to sound a fool, I have a very important question for you all. I've recently purchased some fox ranger baggies with a removable padded liner. Do I wear this liner against my skin or do I chuck some boxers on underneath?
Thanks muchly

Very comforatable shorts by the way, did 50 pain free miles in mine over the weekend0

I wear boxers...Always remember.... Wherever you go, there you are.

I have some running type boxers which I gave a try to under padded shorts. But in the end went back to none, it was more comfortable.0

Wearing anything cotton defeats the object of padded shorts wicking away moisture.
It’s a personal choice depending on how much you sweat and hygiene . I use thin compression sports trunks under padded shorts as it works for me and it just feels like it keeps everything in place.0 -

I would definitely wear undies, but not loose baggy shorts, better to have something fitted, under the liner.
they will last longer as a result.0
