Apologies if this has been covered before, tried a search but couldn't find much. So, about to buy some new inner tubes - apart from the Butyl vs latex thing is there much difference between tubes, or are they all much of a muchness?

Any that particularly stand out due to weight, ride quality, or puncture resistance? Or do i just buy whatever's cheapest?

Some have slime inside them, got a puncture first week of work  although they are pretty heavy. I wonder when I take the tyre off how many punctures the slim has repaired.

I use conti superlights. They weigh 50g and seem reasonably puncture resistant (Fingers crossed the puncture fairy isn't reading this)

When punctured they are throw away

But if you have light wheels it is worth the effort

Latex puncture everytime i ride them. Not worth the hassle for me.
