Rear mech cable rubbing on chainstay?

Just noticed that the rear mech cable is rubbing on the chainstay about 5cm behind the BB cable guide. There is a bulge in the chainstay that gets in the way of the cable. Its a steel frame with very large chainstays. One suggestion is to run the cable through a piece of Teflon tubing from the cable guide too the cable stop. Are their any other solutions?
