Police car and ambulance on the scene on Thames St, on the junction with the last left turn before the long straight.

There was a cyclist standing up, but don't know if he was involved.

Anyone know what happened and if all ok?
FCN 2-4.

"What happens when the hammer goes down, kids?"
"It stays down, Daddy."
"Exactly."

Saw that too. Cyclist standing up had a bike proped up against the lamppost - assume he was a witness.

There was a 4x4 pulled up the side street witth the driver and police surrounding it. Suspect it was a left hook.

Been a few instances out there the last few days. Monday night a woman looked like she'd been hit by a taxi at AB - she was stood up in front of the taxi presumably on the phone to the police. Last night a Brompton was squared up to at the exact same point by a pedestrian. Another cyclist was intervening and the ped was warning him to "do one or get smacked" - it promptly broke up.

I think I saw that too. The police had arrived by then and were interviewing her and the taxi driver. With the roads as busy and congested as they have been recently, its no surprise. :S

Saw a pedestrian walk straight out in front of a cyclist on Charing Cross Road last week. Then the pedestrian started to call the cyclist an "effing c*!t and squaring up to him for no reason. The cyclist not surprising thought better of it and didn't hang around to discuss why he stepped of the kerb without looking.
Fat lads take longer to stop.
