On friday i have a bit of a problem......

I have recently moved, as most of you will have heard me banging on about, and the PS3 has finally been unpacked.

This weekend Miss K heads to the big smoke to see some friends and i have been invited out for a curry.

Now i would usually jump at the chance of a curry, especially as its a big group going but funds are tight.

So my plan is:
Ride out after work
Cheap Pizza
Beer
PS3

Is there anything wrong with this, am i being a lilttle sad??

even with more funds i'd be in your camp. But watching bike racing/footy instead.

My missus is away this weekend, i'm mostly cycling, drinking and being at home alone

I didn't think the PSN was back up yet?

if you were planning on playing online....I would check...news reports suggest it will be down until the end of May.

Course....you could be playing offline...in which case....take some well deserved time sitting in your pants in front of the console, with beer dribbling down your chin and pizza sauce smeared into your t-shirt.

crikey....that could almost be geek erotica!

    :D
Whenever I see an adult on a bicycle, I believe in the future of the human race.

Seems perfectly normal to me. Go for a curry in winter when it's dark/freezing cold & you have more money

How about cooking up a big vat of curry and host a house warming party (£5 per head) with PS3 and beer included. Money issues then sorted and still get a PS3 fix
What if your dreams and fears existed in the same place? What if to get to heaven, you had to brave hell? What if everything you've ever wanted cost you everything you've ever achieved? Would you still go there?

Nothing sad in that at all. Got to make the most of your time and money.

I just wish PSN was sorted so I could get online with Bad Company 2.

    Sounds normal to me.

I routinely skip going out with friends in interests of "saving money", which means xbox live gets rinsed.

I especially love when my wife is at night shifts for work. Leaves me the chance to play until I feel like going to sleep, completely naked while hammered with a kebab or something spilling grease everywhere.

Forget the funds. Curry rules and beer goes so well with curry. Never turn down a curry.
