Any recommendations on a good quality, lightweight base layer? Spring / summer use, high-wicking qualities etc.

I've searched the forum and have only found cold weather threads. Cheers.

i like the Canterbury stuff. you get hot stuff for summer and cold stuff for winter. big selection in Sports Direct (along with nike etc) and you can get a bargain in TK Maxx on occasion

    Craft cool mesh sleeveless

Got 3 and they are my best summer buy ever. Would not be without them. Luv 'em. Wear them under my jersey always when it warms up.

    Lovely

    Get some.

The do look just the job - my only concern is the 'Right Said Fred' look with the mesh!

Favorite so far, I'll check out the other recommendations too, thanks.

Update - Craft on order via Wiggle. Thanks for the advice, hope the weather lasts long enough now to try it!

I wear the baselayer when it is stinking hot

Kept me dry and very comfy in Mallorca in redders heat up the Colobra.

You think you should just wear a jersey when it is balmy warm, but these things take the sweat off your back and shift it quick time. With just a jersey the sweat drips down.

Make sure you get the advised size as they should be tight to the skin to do the work.

As for Right said Fred - they are under a jersey and you wont see them until you unzip - and it beats a belly.
