evening all,

I'm thinking of a new road shoe, 4 bolt to take speedplay cleats and looking at the following two shoes

CX401 - aprox 275
CX330C - aprox 150

I will be using them only for TTing and my ageing Sidi Ergo 2s will be put to normal day to day riding.

I think my Sidis are 43s but need to check.

Can anyone comment on sizing compared to sidis?

Also is the difference between the two above, worth 125 quid?

Any feedback from people using sidis and lakes?

Cheers

Will

I used to have some Lake and found them to be different from sidi in that they were MUCH wider.

Yeah mine were normal not wide. I cannot wear normal sidi's they are just too narrow but the lake were soo roomy!
They were nice TBH but for some reason they rubbed the top of my right little toe and had to sell them.

The lake's normal fit a wide. Unless you have abnormally wide fit, just go for the standard fit. I've got some Lake shoes at the mo and have just ordered the cx 236's with the carbon sole.

What I like about the them is the sole doesn't have a built in instep so they agree with my flat feet, and the BOA closing system which is less faffing around than buckles/Velcro
