After 12 months of riding i've killed my felt 1.3 carbon seatpost with my 94 kg fat ass :( .Im looking for recommendations for a replacement for my cf bike.think im looking at carbon wrapped or carbon seatposts as i've heard alloy and cf react with each other over time can anyone advise me please?

Go for a Thomson seatpost - strong, light and not too expensive - no need to worry about aluminium and CF!

just be sure to use some assembly paste when you put the post in, whether it's al or cf

with al frames, because corrosion products are higher volume, posts can become wedged in place

thomson seatposts are good, the fizik cyrano is nice too (cf version is a bit more forgiving than the al one)

Have had a thomson masterpiece layback for couple years now and its very much a thing of beauty. Exceptionally well made - and that isn't something you can say for all expensive bike bits.
