Hi All,

I'm looking to get my first MTB this summer. I have narrowed the field down to 3 bikes (Genesis Core 50, Latitude 10 or Whyte 901. I'm falling towards the Core 50 and have read the excellent review on here.

But after a call to the shop today I've been told that they stock the Whyte 901 but both Genesis bikes are only brought in to order!

As this will be my first MTB and I have no pre-conceived expectations should I go with the Core or is this a big no no?

Anyone out there have their own views on any of the above bikes.

If you have no pre-conceived expectations save yourself a few quid and get a Boardman or Voodoo from Halfords :)
  • I returned to MTB after 5 years lay off due to rugby injuries and I went for the Core 30, and its a great bike, no complaints from me!
