Giant Rapid 2 2010 Stolen last night

Stolen in Paradise Park (Nr Liverpool Road / Holloway Road North London)
I just don't get how they did it without a key? The lock was still there, locked to metal fence. I had locked it through rear wheel and main frame. ABUS Granit X-Plus 34/160HB. My key was tucked away in my bag with watch, wedding ring and iPhone so really doubt it was mine that was used!!
Distinctive marks: Missing reflector on left pedal, no rear reflector, two empty light holders and one empty lock holder! Few scratches on left side of frame from an off.
