Giant MPH to Hope Mono M4 - worth a change?

I've recently rediscovered the delights of mountain biking and am currently riding my old 2003 Giant Xtc with MPH hydraulic brakes. I've got an opportunity to buy a set of refurbished Hope Mono M4 disc brakes for about £60.
Some advice as to whether this would be a good upgrade would be greatly appreciated.
