Cycling club in Rochdale area

As the title says, does anyone know any good clubs with nice atmosphere, for beginners in Rochdale/Oldham/Middleton/Bury/Manchester etc area?

Thanks, I have seen this one when I have researched google but dates and updates on the website were made in ~2006 so I wasnt sure whether the club is still operating. 0

the website seems out of date but I raced in their open 10 mile TT on saturday so they're still going.

West pennine Road club meet in Rochdale and Middleton Cyling club too but less active. ABC host TT every Tuesday 7pm Gardner's arms Birch £1 ( unless raining), good way for beginners to get in to it. A guy was on his pannier laden cross bike a couple of weeks ago. 8miles in 28 mins so beginners welcome.0
