DId anyone watch the new series of Richard Hammond's engineering connections last night? I missed it but just watched it on i player. Really interesting program, I find how things work and solutions to problems fascinating, prob because i'm a bit sad! Especially liked the water fountains at the end

didnt see it assumed that hammond programme would involve blowing up caravans
worth a watch then?0 -
Unfortuatly no exploding caravans worth a watch though imo.

OK program but a bit dummed down.
For example, to stop the hotel burning down they turned to camera flashes....
Well not really, capacitors are just standard electronic equipment, I'm sure they didn't think of camera flashes to work out how to stop hot wires!!0 -

Add English to your list of 'how things work' and I will love you forever!
oh noes! I abreviated the word probably. Any other issues with my English? That's what we need on this forum, more grammar police :roll:Bikes are OK, I guess... :-)

I quite liked it though. It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Yeah, you need a verb for it to make any sense.
I am shocked by the standards of grammar amongst today's old people.On-One Whippet Singlespeed
