    I feel your pain.

Years ago i was walking home from a night out with some friends. Short cut took us down the canal. I stopped to for a bit of a toilet break, got a bit of a wobble on slipped ended up down a bank in a load of nettles.

I was covered in stings arms, legs, face and yes some on my old man

Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away....

Oh dear, I hope it hurts less now but I'm still supressing a giggle at the thought of you stuck to your bike in a hole. SPDs always undo when you're away from spiky/stingy/swampy things!

I do know your pain though, Saturdays ride left me with a set of nettle stings down my forearm and leg after an unplanned dismount in a patch of nettles....

When riding/running/walking in a group you should always go at the pace of the slowest in the group at any particular time.
    Thats just my opinion.
Hope you are feeling better today.

Ouch, our usual Thursday night ride has been great over the winter/early spring months but hey ho, with the onslaught of lots of sun, our jaunts are being overtaken with Stingers and Brambles.
Like to wear my free Norco socks as supplied by MBUK so my legs comeback severley rashed up and "buzz" till the early hous of the morning.
Lots of graises from thorn bushes don't help either.
My Bruv, Tenfoot keeps promising to go round the route with some secateurs to cut them back but alas it hasn't happened yet, so until they all die in 6 moths time or the council does some maintaining (not very likely) we'll just have to try to avoid the blighters and put up with it.

    Towny.

Be careful what you say about girls; I know some from my hometown that will walk all over most guys. Here's one of them:

I hope the pain has subsided somewhat?!
I feel your pain, my shins are still buzzing from both my Saturday and Monday rides!
If it helps at all I wear 2xu calf guards at this time of year, they are quite breathable and protect from the dreaded stingers!! just wish I had though to wear them, but have them ready for my next ride!
