I'm doing the 100Km route (or trying to...) this year for the first time :D

Looks like a suitable challenge - and for a very good cause!

The BHF have a charity ride called the Exmoor Mountain Bike Marathon.

Choice of routes up to 100km off road. I did the 75km last year and it was hard work ! The extra 25km loop takes you up and over dunkery beacon after 65km !

It wasn't on the events list for this year when I last looked, but I'm sure it'll be added as time gets on :)

I'm about to sign up for the Afan Monster :D

Approx. 30 of us are doing the TPT between Southport and Hornsea over two days (207 miles) in August for BlueBell Wood Childrens Hospice - not exactly MTBing but challenging enough!

As well as the Exmoor Mountain Bike Marathon ... have a look at the BHF site, they organise quite a few MTB events (think putting "off-road" into the search may filter out the road based rides)

Did one of the 2x South Downs Way event last year and was generally well organised and a great day out.

May do the Ridgeway this year, just for a change of scenery. http://www.bhf.org.uk/get-involved/events/view-event.aspx?ps=1000989

Bloody hard work but 18 of the 28 that set off completed the full route in aid of an awesome charity - Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice nr Sheffield.

I had to convert my MTB bike to a hybrid for the ride but she is now lovingly restored to her former glory - off to Cannock next week to make her (and me) happy!!!!
