For what it's worth after doing a lot of reading I've come to the conclusion that the ride comfort on the Six must be similar to the Synapse and both will be better than what I have now, so I've decided to go for a Six. Chances of me getting a test ride on either are zero due to my location. I've seen Sixes with 105 for as little as 1399 using Google Shopping and I far prefer the Liquigas colour scheme to any of the others, my word some of them are bland. I'll also move my nice wheels over from the CAAD5 to replace the heavier RS10s you get with the 105 bike.

But I'm not buying just yet, rather a lot of outstanding DIY needed on the house and the grown up in me is putting a new bathroom (partly for my wife's sake) before replacing my CAAD5. Being a grown up sucks. Having said that I do love my CAAD5.
