what year is the bike~/ did they come on the bike?

measure the visable inner leg and that will be approx the travel.

I bought them nearly new of a guy who didnt have any knowledge of them
the visible stantions measure 150mm but i cant seem to find any definate info on RLs with a 15mm qr
so was not sure on the visible being the travel or a they 140mm forks
im asking as im thinking of getting some 36s and didnt want to sell them with false info
    cheers

They're 2010 models, the 2011 have different decals on the legs and kashima coating, which yours doesnt of course ;)

Now i read that spec one as well ,
but No option in the spec list for a straight thru axle
the picture shows RLCs which have a thru axle
and i definately have a 15mm axle which is what confused me
and looking again my stickers are grey edged not blue so they must be older as there definately not newer .

The 150 or 140 Float RL with FIT comes with the 15mm bolt.

could be 2009's. i had a pair of fox's with a 15mm axle but they not have the fit cartridge, looking at the pic i cant see any mention of the fit cartridge on the silver float decal meaning these are probably 2009 .

my 09 fox forx had stickers like that and were oem forks for my stumpjumper, not similar to any of the other forks in foxs line up.

they could well be a specific fork fitted as oem.

According to fox website, no RL version made in 2009, RLC and R versions only.

Isnt the FIT decal on the other leg, the side behind the wheel.

as mentioned above these were oem forks and as such would have had functions decided by the bike manufacturer. exact same decals as my 2009 fox's and no mention of the fit dampener which came in for 2010

IF (not saying they are) these are the 2010 140mm RL FIT's then the decal isnt on the side you mention, its on the other leg which is obscurred, see the pic on the fox website. The FIT decal is above the small RLC on the same strip.

    Hi
the left leg has RL on them and nothing else
so from reading this these may well be OEM spec forks
thanks guys it would be nice to have a fair idea what they are
as for price thats another ?
they are in fantastic condition with barley a mark on them which leads me to believe they have not done much .

Fox forks with a FIT damper has the rebound adjust on the bottom of the fork, if rebound adjust is on the top they arent FIT
