Afternoon all
While setting the sag on my forks this morning (for the 1st time) i discovered that what i thought were 100mm forks are in fact 120mm forks....
The forks that were specced with the Scale 20 are F32 RL 100mm forks, however these are most def 120mm
TBH i just assumed the forks that came with the frame were 100mm, and didnt query this with the buyer
Im not overly bothered, but main concern is that 120mm forks are going to damage the frame ?
Ive been using them since Oct with no problems, but i want to be sure
Cheers

Most probably be fine, but check warranty with your dealer.0

Some forks have more exposed upper tube from the factory anyway. My Fox F100's measure 113mm from the dust wiper seal to the underside of the crown.
Doubt they actually travel more than 100mm though.0 -
Are they air forks? take out all the air so you can compress them easily and see how much disappears?
or Measure the axle to crown length and compare with any specs on Fox's website?0 -
Finally found some specs on the Fox website that have cleared this up once and for all

seems that my forks are indeed 100mm, despite the stancion measuring closer to 120mm...
Not sure why the Fox guy that emailed me back didnt point me to this PDF... :?0 -
so your AC height is 470mm?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
