As I'm starting to up my miles I'd like to get a proper bike fit.
I'm starting to find my shoulders, neck and elbows are starting to get sore after only 10 miles..

Does anyone know where I can go for a bike fit in Inverness ?

Cheers

You could try asking in Alpine Bikes at Tiso. When I was in there the other day they had a rack of bits that looked like bike fitting parts (3 or 4 sets of bars and various other devices). I've been meaning to ask if they do it. Let me know if you find out.

Trouble is most places in Inverness are focused on MTBs (inevitably). A neighbour of mine has just started a bike shop. Maybe I should ask him to get trained to do it.

Try Kenny at Bikes of Inverness. He may be able to help.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

I'll pop into both shops and see if they offer the service.

Meanredspider - I'll let you know the outcome, I'll probably pop down on Tue or Wed. I'm sure other forum members from the area would also like to know..

    Cheers lads

I managed to go into town today, so went a visit into Tiso.

Tiso does do a Bike Fit service, it's a 2 hour session and costs £100 plus free follow up if needed, also if parts are needed you don't pay a labour fee to fit them.

I had a chat to the guy who's trained in the fitting and he's seen some good results from himself and customers. He himself was having issues with his hands getting pins 'n' needles, this is now sorted due to a proper bike fit.

Sounds very promising, so it's time for me to save some cash ;o)

    Cheers
