Looking to upgrade the wheels on my bike now that I've lost a bit of beef. Just wondering what people's opinions are on this wheel set before I part with the cash??

    Not worth buying a an upgrade IMO. Didn't feel any different to basic £100 wheels.

    Switched from Alex Rim DA55s (I think) to them with Pro3 Race tyres. Night and day. Haven't tried anything more expensive but I am very impressed and notice the difference when I ride on the old wheels with Gatorskins on them.
    Current steed is a '07 Carrera Banshee X
    + cheap road/commuting bike

    Agree with this. Not really worth buying as an upgrade. You can get lighter wheels that are just as strong for a lot less (Two pairs of Planet x Model Bs!! for example). They're not in the same league as the Ksyrium Elites and in my opinion, not that much better than Aksiums.
