20mm thru axle wheel bearing (bontrager hub)

Ive searched youtube which normally holds the key to my technical problems, but couldnt find a thing this time.
The bearings on my front wheel are sounding a little dodgey so am hoping to change them. Ive taken the wheel out and just cant for the life of me figure out how to get into the bearings, there doesnt appear to be any flat spots to get a spanner on, or anything at all to be able to get to the bearings.
Has anyone managed to do this before? Im not sure if its particular to bontrager hubs or whether its the same for other 20mm axles....

press fit knock out from the inside.
check for C clips first.
