XC is very wide. Fireroads/bridal paths or singletrack or rougher stuff?

This is not a costly repair. All that has happened is a little grommet has popped out of the master cylinder - Hayes Nines do this from time to time. The grommet cost £1.99 to replace. All you need to do then is refill and bleed the brake and it will be fine. £15 job?
