Carry over from Tube strike thread - suggested routes?

Guys,
Just taking a look at the dates of the tube strikes it looks like they will effect my normal weekly journey, on a Tuesday morning and Thursday evening, to and from Paddington to Leadenhall (for which I normally take the tube).
What would you all suggest as a route between Leadenhall market and Paddington Train station. Should I get in some Embankment action?
Cheers,
FJ

Can't help but I hope you agree the choices for lunch are phenomenal round there!0 -
Hyde Park - Constitution Hill, Mall/Birdcage Walk - Embankment.

It's not bad, but I preferred Spitalfields Market when we were further up the road!!
You work in the area, Rick?

Spitalfields has gone all sterile and corporate. Such a shame.
Have you tried Mamma Thai? I miss that place.

Back to the subject. If it's anything like previous tube strike days there will be loads of bikes and gridlock from extra cars. I expect it'll get messy and a bit unpleasant. Mind you, it'll still be loads better than the underground.0 -
Shouldn`t be too bad as I don`t get into Paddington until around 11.30am.
I`ll give Mama Thai a try.Little boy to Obama: "My Dad says that you read all our emails"
