Actually, the guy who put the jersey on me told me to shave next time! (It was also a size medium jersey over my regular jersey so a little tight!)

If I won a jersey like that I don't think I'd want to take it off. :D

    Congratulations again Pokerface.

I hope he isn't going to go around riding in the world Cup leaders jersey, you have to earn the right to wear those things. Oh, wait a minute.....

Colins national records from earlier this year have now been ratified by Cycling Ireland:

    Cycling Ireland Board Update
By Jack Watson, Honorary Secretary of Cycling Ireland
    May 18, 2011,

    NATIONAL RECORDS

The Board of Cycling Ireland was pleased to note that even after a particularly heavy track programme there was an abundance of record claims to be approved at it’s last meeting. The surge in record claims from the Para Athletes was very encouraging as they head towards the last phase of qualification for London 2012. The continuing progress of the National Women’s Squad is a sure sign that the numerous track camps which have been run this year are paying dividends.

    PARA CYCLING

    Men C2

11/03/11 3 Kms Colin Lynch 4:00.925 (New Record)
12/03/11 1 Km Colin Lynch 1:20.761 (New Record)

    Men C2 – C5

13/03/11 750 Mts Colin Lynch 58.136 (New Record)

All the Para records were set at the Para Cycling World Championships in Montichiari, Italy and all the riders were riding for Ireland.
