Yes, the Thank F*ck It's Friday Thread.

What are you meatbags upto today? I'm off to work shortly where I suspect there will be plenty of running around, not much laughs and a little stress.

I think tonight I shall take a ride to the pub with the girlfriend and sink a few pints

    Morning benders

Busy busy day today... 2 lectures, only in uni from 10-12, rest of the day free to do some stuff.

Then obviously I'll be going out tonight and probably be getting quite drunk.

Sat in work compiling a training course for next week (gotta love short notice).

About 8.30 there will be nommage including bacons.

This will set me up for an annual review. Frabjous joy!*

    Morning all.

At work, drinking tea and eating toasted marmite & cheese sandwiches. Loads to do today, and I can't go anywhere because autoglass are visiting some time between 8 and 4 to fit a new windscreen to the panda. If they get here before 12 I have the bike ready to go.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

    Who are you calling inbred?

    Morning meatbags.

I'm about to go for a ride. It'll be the first ride I've been on all year where it's raining when I set off, and after the deluge we had here yesterday, it's gonna be a wet one. Strangely, I'm looking forward to it.

This makes me massively massively massively jealous, being stuck in London without a bike, not even a road bike

I really should have gone to a uni like Aberystwyth where I could ride bikes constantly.

    Morning assclowns,

Not much on for me, I'm at work, but not really working, as I only have a week left in this job, so all motivation is out of the window!

Going to try to get out on the bike this weekend, but not sure how I'll hold up, cracked a rib last friday on a stag do, so things are a bit tender. Need to get some riding hours in though, as I'm doing a charity bike ride next Sunday (Woking Bikeathon, if anybody else from here is doing it, give me a shout!).

Meh, time to load up on red bull and check out the hottie in the office. Have a good friday y'all! ;)

    Good Morning Freaks!

    TGIF!

Uber busy at work today. And, due to the female changing facilities being closed, today is one of the days they’re using the male ones, so it was a very sedate ride in (so as I didn’t get too sweaty) and a quick rub down with a wet flannel in the toilets first thing. It also meant I had to ride the shortest route to work, so I’m down 5 miles from my normal daily total, so either Mike or Shayne will probably take the lead on the Endomondo challenge…

Did have a breakfast meeting though, which involved a full English and lots of coffee.

Currently bashing my head against the desk with our finance system. You would not believe how unnecessarily complicated this is being made!

Anyways, soon be lunchtime, and I have some very nice cheese and smoked sausage sandwiches to demolish.

    Laters...

    POIDH

I wish. Few problems with that though.

1 - "'scuse me love, can you pose for a pic that I can upload onto teh forumz please?" - yea, she's not gonna like that!

2 - If I did take pics, I'd make sure rohypnol was provided prior to pic taking, so the pics wouldn't be decent for the kids (Jay  ) on here.

Can't access Facebook @ work either, so can't do it that way :(

Sorry lads. (And any women that swing that way).

I have a blocked middle ear apparently, boo. Riding is comical as I can't hear a damn thing out of my left ear and things I can hear sound odd as I can't work out where the noise is coming from.

    Still, it's Friday. :D

I don't think I'd trust an LBS that didn't know the length of cranks they'd ordered

    Mornin' lads and ladettes!
I'm back fighting fit today after my death and resurection from the worst hangover known to man. I even managed to buy and build a bed last night :D First bed I've owned wooo

Today is a quiet day. I have loads to do but cba with any of it. I didn't realise my boss is back from her holiday today, so I need to look busy. Typing on here is good, it looks like I'm doing stuff. Sadly I'm back in tomorrow :(

Been up since 5am, I've also learned what a membrane sweep is

While internally examining said female, she will simply "sweep" a finger around the cervix (neck of the womb). The aim is to separate the membranes around the baby from the cervix. This releases hormones called prostaglandins, which may kick-start labour

This mornings ride didn't go according to plan.

Left my house, got around 50m down the road and noticed the really bad clicking coming from BB/Shock sort of area.

Turned round and came home to fix it. Didn't have my keys so had to wait for the wife to come back from dropping JR off at school. Did some skills practice while I waited.

Somehow managed to drop the bike on its side, and bent the mech hanger.

So I've had the bike in bits today searching for clicking noises and bending the hanger back into shape.

On the bright side, my garage is now spotlessly clean.
