New Forks - ready to ride?

Hi all,

Second potentially dumb question of the day, but hey I'm on a roll:

I have just fitted brand new Rock Shox Recon Gold RL SoloAir forks to my bike, but my question is can I ride it immediately without adding oil? I'll checked the air pressure first but I'd rather not have to take apart the things to check for oil levels before I've used them cos I'll probably break something.

The manual is rubbish but gives suggested frequencies for different servicing, however nothing about what to do after getting them out the box.

I kind of assumed they'd be ready to go, as they might be tested before leaving the factory, but I wanted to check with people who know about these things first..

Cheers
