Bike Boxes

I am writing an article on bike boxes for http://www.trainingescapes.com and would like to hear any advice/ recommendations people have, particularly boxes versus bags, bike protection and durability. Thanks!

    Lots of Bikes on planes threads in the archives here..
    Crazyguyonabike forum a has a "bags and packing" section and many a blog decribes/shows photos of pretrip prep..etc..

    We bought Bike Box Alan boxes this year and took carbon bikes to majorca - really easy to pack and use. A great buy and a good service.http://bikeboxalan.co.uk/
