SPD's / Clip less for trail riding - Cube Stereo

Steadily getting better and better (still poo).

I am seriously thinking about going to SPD's for better power and control.

or should I just stick to the trusty flats.

What SPD's / shoes are good for trail riding and the occupational pedal strikes?

Certainly worth it in my opinion, some like, some don't though. Just requires some patience from my experience.

WIth Shimano shoes you tend to need a size up from your normal size too. You're best bet is probably to get down to an actual real life shop though and try shoes before buying, even if you want to buy off the net, try first to get some ideas of whats a good fit.

Totally agree with above post, can't go wrong with 520's, you can get them from ebay for £13.95 delivered! Excellent value:

The above comes without cleats though - the CRC ones will come with cleats
