My new bike - Look 586

Picked up this today to replace my broken and bent Van Nicholas Vardar after it got mashed my a car.



2009 Look 586 - got a nice price on it from the LBS
Groupset Shimano 105
Wheels - Mavic Ksyrium K10
Saddle - Fizik Arione
Bars & Stem - Pro PLT
Bar Tape - Fizik
Pedals - Time RSX Carbon

Lovely bike, are the bars tilted or is it the angle of the photo?
How does it compare against the V.N.?

Bars are a bit tilted, still tweaking the riding position a little. Also I thnk the angle of the phot doesnt help. I was knelt down looking up at the bike a bit.

As for the ride, comapred to the VN, Its more stable and less twitchy, ride comfort doesnt compare the look is far superior. I dont think its a huge amount faster in real world terms, but it certainly feels that it is, it encourages you to put effort in and when you do it is rewarded.

Really pleased with it.

Cant tell the difference over my previous wheels TBH.

I had Mavic Kysrium SL's before I dont think theres a huge amount of difference between those and the K10's fitted to the Look.

other than that its a very nice bike

Thats what the guy in the bike shop said

I used to use Keo's but started getting knee pain on longer rides, so I swapped to time and hey presto knee pain issues gone.
